PNC Lambda Pi Eta Communication Meet and Greet
WESTVILLE – The Purdue University North Central Communication Honor Society Lambda Pi Eta will host a “Communication Meet and Greet” with employers from the Northwest Indiana area on Wednesday
April 11, in Library-Student-Faculty Building, Room 144 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Meet and Greet is not a job fair, but instead it is an opportunity for students to meet with local employers to discuss what a Communication bachelor's degree can do for them. This presents an ideal time for students to shake hands and network with professionals in the field of communication. Employers may discuss any possible internship opportunities that are available and give students and insight into their companies and what they look for when hiring.
Communication majors are encouraged to attend, but all PNC students are welcome to attend this informal event.
Participating employers will include:
Rothschild Agency
Independent Insurance Agent
Speedway
Indiana Dabney University
The Boys and Girls Club
The United Way
Further information about the Communication Meet and Greet may be obtained by contacting Lambda Pi Eta President Amy Kanyer at akanyer@pnc.edu.
