So you want to take some college courses, but aren’t
ready to commit to a degree program? We’ve got you
covered. Each year, a variety of students apply to Purdue
North Central as non-degree candidates. Some are previous
college students returning to take a few courses. Others
have no college experience at all and simply want to take
a few courses without becoming full-time students. And still
others fall somewhere in between. No matter who you are or
where you come from, we want to talk to you.
Typically, our non-degree students are limited to enrolling
in a maximum of seven credit hours per semester during the
fall and spring, and four credit hours during the summer
session. Non-degree students may apply no more than 18 semester
hours of work towards an undergraduate degree at Purdue University.
In the meantime, feel free to request
information about Purdue North Central, including
our special application for Non-Degree students.
