Favorite Thing about PNC
I love the close knit feel that PNC has to offer. You do not have to worry about getting lost in the crowd. Everyone is incredibly nice and welcoming with a friendly smile or hello. Not to mention, the campus is incredibly scenic and beautiful!
Most memorable class
COM 372 Intercultural Communication really opened my eyes to how we communicate, not only in our culture, but others as well. What we know and understand to be a sensible communication style is nonsense in others. This class really gave me the chance to step outside of the box.
How did your coursework or activities that you were involved in help you find your passion?
Communications was a good fit for me because I have always been a people person who loves to talk! Talking has always come naturally to me. I really enjoy being able to communicate with so many different types of people day to day. My love of communicating and my love of PNC fit very well together, because I get to communicate with such great people.
What advice do you have for prospective students considering PNC?
Strive to do your best and never lose sight of your goals. It is easy to get caught up in other outside forces that can sidetrack you. You just have to look deep inside yourself and realize that with hard work and positive thinking, you are capable of anything. In this type of environment, your dreams can grow with no boundaries.
