Undergrad at PNC, MBA at PNC. Pretty obvious that I definitely like PNC a lot.
Hobbies & Interests
I love to golf! There’s nothing better than getting outside, walking the course, and hitting some long balls. I also love volleyball – coaching, playing, whatever.
Favorite Movie
There really are too many to name, but my go-to movies are the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Or Up. Or Avatar. Or Stepbrothers.
Where were you prior to PNC?
Prior to PNC, I was employed by Starin, Inc., a marketing and distribution firm in Chesterton, Indiana.
Favorite Thing about PNC
My favorite thing about PNC is the fact that in every class, my professors remembered my name. That’s important and definitely part of the reason I decided to get my masters through the MBA program.
Most memorable class
My most memorable class was Small Group Communication with Professor Carrie Higgins. Not only did this class make me appreciate how much work can be accomplished through group work, it also made me love the beauty of geese in a flying V. A little inside joke – if you ever take the class, you’ll understand what I’m talking about.
How did your coursework or activities that you were involved in help you find your passion?
I chose Communication as a major because I love to talk. I used to get in trouble in high school for talking too much. Now, I get paid to talk and rarely do I get in trouble for doing it too much. My passion is being able to communicate… That’s what I’m good at and that’s what I live for.
What advice do you have for prospective students considering PNC?
Find your passion! If you pursue your passion with relentless drive and desire, you will definitely succeed and go further than you ever dreamt.
